Terms of Service — rabbitdrop

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using rabbitdrop.com (the "Service") operated by Rabbitdrop ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Rabbitdrop is a temporary file transfer platform. Users upload files, receive a shareable link, and send that link to recipients. Files are stored for a limited period and then permanently deleted. The Service is offered under the following tiers:

Ghost (anonymous) — No account required. Up to 250 MB per transfer. Daily 1 GB IP-based quota applies. Files are hard-deleted after 24 hours.
Verified (free account) — Email-verified account. Up to 5 GB per transfer. Files are stored for 3 days before entering the Lazarus window.
Flash (pay-as-you-go) — Single-use tickets for 50GB, 100GB, or 200GB. Files are active for 7 days.
Burrow (Pro) — Monthly subscription featuring a 500 GB "Active Pool" for storage. Maximum size per individual file transfer is 200 GB. Retention period is up to 90 days.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your Account

Some features require a Rabbitdrop account. You are responsible for:

Keeping your login credentials confidential.
All activity that occurs under your account.
Notifying us immediately at info@rabbitdrop.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not share your account or transfer it to another person.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload, share, or use the Service to transmit any content that:

Violates any applicable law or regulation (including export control and sanctions laws).
Infringes or misappropriates any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of a third party.
Contains viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, or any other harmful or malicious code.
Constitutes spam, phishing, credential harvesting, or other deceptive content.
Is child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexually exploitative content involving minors.
Promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, human trafficking, or other illegal activities.
Violates another person's privacy or enables stalking, doxxing, or harassment.

Upon receiving a verified abuse report, we reserve the right to immediately ban and hard-delete the reported content from all storage layers without prior notice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account involved in abuse.

5. File Retention, Expiry & Hard Deletion

Every transfer on Rabbitdrop follows a strict lifecycle before permanent erasure:

Active Phase — The file is live and downloadable. Ghost/Verified files are active for 24h and 3 days respectively. Flash plans are active for 7 days unless a "30-Day Extension" is purchased.
Lazarus Window (14 days) — After the active phase, files enter a recovery state where they are inaccessible but stored for 14 days. Restoration requires a "Lazarus Recovery Fee" of $1.99.
Hard Delete — At the end of the Lazarus window, the file is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our Cloudflare R2 storage. No copy is retained, and recovery is impossible.
RABBITDROP IS NOT A PERMANENT STORAGE OR BACKUP SERVICE. - Do not rely on the Service as your only copy of any data. We accept no responsibility for the permanent loss of files once they reach the end of their defined lifecycle or Lazarus window.

Rabbitdrop is not a backup service. Do not rely on it as the only copy of any file. We accept no liability for data loss resulting from the normal expiry and deletion lifecycle described above.

The 500 GB Active Pool limit for Burrow plan users refers to the total size of files currently in the Active Phase. Files in the Lazarus Window do not count toward the pool.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the files you upload. By uploading a file, you grant Rabbitdrop a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit the file solely as necessary to provide the Service. This licence expires automatically when the file is hard-deleted.

The Rabbitdrop name, logo, and all software, design, and content on the Service (excluding user-uploaded files) are the intellectual property of Rabbitdrop.

7. Paid Plans, Payments & Refunds

Paid subscriptions and one-time transfers are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. By completing a purchase you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
Refund policy: Due to the immediate allocation of high-bandwidth infrastructure and R2 storage, Flash (One-time) plan purchases are non-refundable once the upload process has commenced.
Lazarus Recovery Fees are final and non-refundable once the file is restored to 'Active' status.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, partial months are not pro-rated for refunds.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to registered users.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We do not guarantee that files will be stored indefinitely or that the Service will function as a backup solution. USERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THEIR OWN COPIES OF ALL UPLOADED CONTENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rabbitdrop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rabbitdrop from any claims or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Abuse Reports & DMCA

Abuse reports: To report illegal content or malware, email info@rabbitdrop.com with the subject line "Abuse Report". We aim to act within 24 hours.

Copyright / DMCA: If you believe content infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@rabbitdrop.com. Upon verification, we will remove the content and initiate an immediate hard delete.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 14 survive termination.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved informally. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, legal action may be pursued in competent courts.
