Pause an upload — and resume it later
The longer the file, the more can go wrong: the Wi-Fi drops, the laptop sleeps, a tab gets closed, or you simply need the bandwidth for a call. On most transfer services that means starting a multi-gigabyte upload from zero. Rabbitdrop splits every file into parts and uploads them one by one, so an interrupted transfer only ever loses the part that was in flight — never the hours before it.
Pause whenever you need the bandwidth
Hit Pause during an upload and everything stops on the spot — even the parts already in flight. Hit Resume and the transfer continues from the exact part it stopped at.
Dropouts recover by themselves
Lost connection, a sleeping laptop, or a phone switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data: the upload waits, then picks itself back up when the network returns. You don't have to touch anything.
Closed the tab? Select the file again
Browsers can't hold on to a file after the page is gone, so Rabbitdrop remembers the transfer instead. Come back within 24 hours, pick the same file, and it continues — no re-upload of what already made it.
Continue on another device
Signed in? An upload started on your desktop can be finished on a laptop. Open Rabbitdrop there, select the same file, and the remaining parts go up from the new machine.

Your file is uploaded in parts
Each part travels to storage on its own and is tracked separately, which is what makes stopping and continuing possible in the first place.

We ask storage what really arrived
On resume, Rabbitdrop doesn't trust the browser's own notes — it asks the storage layer which parts are actually there. A part that never landed gets re-sent; a part that did is skipped.

Only the missing parts go up
A 40 GB upload that stopped at 90% sends the last 4 GB, not all 40 again. The progress bar continues from where it was.

If the file changed, we start clean
If the file you pick isn't a byte-for-byte match for the one you started with, Rabbitdrop discards the half-finished transfer and uploads from scratch. Correctness beats saving a few minutes — you can never end up with two files stitched together.

Frequently asked questions
What is the maximum file size I can send? +
Two limits apply: the size of one transfer, and how much you send per day. Without an account a transfer can total 1 GB and you can send 2 GB a day — so several transfers, not just one. A free account removes the per-transfer limit entirely and gives you 10 GB a day. Paid plans carry 100 GB to 500 GB per transfer with no daily cap. Note that the transfer limit covers the total of all files you select, not each file. See the pricing page for current limits.
How do I send a large file to someone without email? +
Upload your file, copy the short link, and share it via any messaging app, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, or SMS. The recipient downloads directly in their browser with no account needed.
Are large files safe to send through Rabbitdrop? +
Yes. All transfers are TLS-encrypted in transit and AES-256 encrypted at rest. Files are hard-deleted after expiry — never retained indefinitely or sold to third parties.
Can I pause a large upload and continue it later? +
Yes. Press Pause during the upload and it stops immediately; press Resume and it continues from the part it stopped at. If you closed the tab in the meantime, reopen Rabbitdrop within 24 hours and select the same file — only the missing parts are uploaded. See how it works.
What happens if my internet drops during a big upload? +
The transfer waits and continues by itself once the connection is back — no clicking required. Parts already uploaded are never sent twice, so a dropout costs you seconds, not the whole transfer.
Can I send multiple large files at once? +
Yes. Select or drag multiple files at once and they'll all be transferred together under a single shareable link.
